The Utica College women’s soccer team got its third win of the season as they beat an undefeated SUNY ESF team at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium by the score of 1-0 in an out of conference matchup.  Junior Jenna Mazza scored the only goal in the game while sophomore goaltender Alison Wagner was able to get the shutout.

Mazza’s goal came within the first 4 minutes of the game. The goalie let it go completely through her legs giving Mazza her second goal of the season.

Wagner was able to pull off the shutout, making it her 4th on the season while also hauling in 11 saves on the afternoon.

Other players that contributed to the game were players such as freshman Kierra Caissy and juniors Abby Reilly and Gabrielle Esposito in which they all had a combined 4 shots on goal.

The Pioneers go to 3-4-1 and will take on the Golden Flyers of Nazareth at home on Saturday at 1p.m.
