UC rallies for fifth straight

The Pioneers returned to Empire 8 play Saturday afternoon as they took on Alfred University and came out on top 16-15

UC trailed at the half 8-7 before exploding for five goals in the third quarter and another four on the fourth to secure the victory.

Senior midfielder Brickman House led the way for the Pioneers with five points on three assists and two goals. He now has a team and career-high 39 points on the year. Sophomore midfielder Jake Bratek and junior attack Nick Yelich both added three goals and one assists in the win.

The win marks five straight for UC as they improve to 7-3 on the year, 2-1 in conference play. They look to keep the streak alive on Wednesday, April 12 as they are on the road to take on the Golden Flyers of Nazareth College. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
