The UC women’s Basketball team dropped its third straight to visiting Hamilton College on Monday. The final score was 64 to 46 in favor of the Continentals.

The Pioneers kept the game close only trailing by two heading into half. However, they were unable to match a fourth quarter scoring explosion from Hamilton.

Utica’s shooting woes continued, as they only shot 25 percent from the field.

Junior Ashley Mayo led the Pioneers in scoring with 20 points, while fellow junior Ashelyne Babb contributed eight rebounds.

The Pioneers fall to 1-4 on the season and will face a 3-2 Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts team on Wednesday at 6pm on their home court.
